Step into a defining leadership role at Ofgem as Deputy Director, Corporate Services Transformation Programme Director, driving change that will shape delivery of corporate functions across Ofgem. In this pivotal position, you’ll deliver a modernised operating model, underpinned by a new ERP solution that together drive cultural change, efficiencies, and a better staff experience across our organisation.
Ofgem is Great Britain’s independent energy regulator. To deliver on this mission, you’ll lead a transformation programme and operate at senior level to influence how corporate functions are designed and delivered.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver a new operating model for corporate functions, in particular HR, finance and procurement.
- Lead the procurement and implementation of a modern, cloud-based ERP system.
- Drive cultural and behavioural change, embedding new ways of working across Ofgem.
- Champion continuous improvement, innovation and efficiency, ensuring our internal operations are fit for the future.

Person specification
- You will be comfortable working with ambiguity in a dynamic environment.
- Experience of understanding and applying industry innovation and best practice to exploit technology and redefine ways of working to deliver corporate functions.
- Leading complex programmes to drive behaviour change, improve effectiveness and/or realise efficiency savings.
- Senior leadership of HR, Finance or Procurement teams;
- Effective communications to staff.
- Leadership of diverse stakeholders.
- Procurement processes and managing suppliers.
- Experience of designing, procuring and implementing ERP solutions and operating model changes within central government or arm’s length bodies.
