In Customer Strategy and Tax Design, we are working to build a trusted, modern tax administration system- one that brings in revenue for public services, makes it easy to get it right, is valued and trusted, and which promotes sustainable economic growth.

Business Assets and International (BAI) is a policy directorate made up of around 500 colleagues overseeing various taxes and duties, including corporation tax, Stamp Duty Land Tax, inheritance tax, capital gains tax and aspects of income tax. The work of the directorate is high profile and often in the news.

The largest tax for which BAI is responsible is corporation tax which brings in around £90 billion annually for the Exchequer. This challenging and exciting role is responsible for establishing and developing a team that will lead corporation tax transformation and regime ownership in HMRC. This exciting opportunity is for a highly motivated and experienced leader to join CS&TD's Business Assets and International Directorate as the Deputy Director for Corporation Tax Strategy and Transformation. In this critical role, you'\'ll be at the forefront of shaping the future of Corporation Tax administration in the UK, directly impacting revenue collection, customer experience, and public trust. You will design and implement key strategic initiatives, drive change, and lead a team to deliver exceptional results.
