The NHS financial landscape is challenging and subject to increasing scrutiny. This role will jointly be responsible with the other Deputy Directors of Finance for ensuring the integrity of the general ledger, giving assurance to the Director of Operational Finance and Director of Strategic Finance that the financial information supplied is accurate and in accordance with professional accounting standards.The role holder will lead the Financial Services teams across a number of areas, including financial accounting and controls, capital expenditure, treasury management and purchase and sales ledger.
