About the role

The post holder will actively support the development and implementation of short-term and long-term strategy working alongside the Director of Operations and the Faculty Dean as a member of the Faculty Leadership Team with specific input in delivering change across Faculty Professional services. In addition the post holder will provide operational leadership and financial management for the Faculty Office as well as taking a lead role in other Faculty areas such as Equality, Diversity and Inclusion and will deputise for the Director of Operations as required.

The role is available on secondment to internal candidates only until 1st October

About you

We are looking for someone who can transfer their knowledge and experience of working within Faculties to deliver improvements to our Professional Services provision through leading effective operational and change management. They must be able to form strong relationships with Academic and Professional Services colleagues and to communicate effectively across the Faculty. The post holder will be able to lead teams, whom they may not directly line manage, to deliver objectives. Project management skills and experience of reviewing organisational structures are also key in this role.
