The Royal Academy of Music is a creative and vibrant workplace with a diverse mix of students and staff from over 60 countries. Philanthropy plays a significant role in the life of the Academy and supports our mission to develop and educate the musicians of tomorrow. The Royal Academy of Music’s Future campaign was launched in 2022 with a target of £60m, making it the most ambitious campaign for a conservatoire outside the US. Having exceeded that target, we extended the Campaign to £100 million. We are seeking a dynamic and collaborative Deputy Director of Philanthropy to join the Academy’s highly successful Advancement team. You will lead the High Value Giving team (research, trusts, legacies and major gifts) to generate philanthropic income which supports the delivery of the Academy’s strategic priorities.
