The Deputy Director of Service Learning will play a vital role in supporting the organization’s service-learning initiatives. This position will assist the Associate Director of Service Learning in developing, implementing, and evaluating programs that engage students in meaningful community service. The Deputy Director will also collaborate with community partners, faculty, and students to ensure the success of service-learning efforts.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist the Director of Service Learning in developing and implementing new service-learning programs.
  • Coordinate and facilitate the logistics of service-learning projects, including scheduling, transportation, and volunteer management.
  • Recruit and train student volunteers and interns.
  • Build and maintain relationships with community partners and faculty.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of service-learning programs.
  • Collect and analyze data to assess program outcomes.
  • Prepare reports and presentations to share findings with stakeholders.
  • Assist with grant writing and fundraising efforts.
  • Represent the organization at community events and conferences.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
