We are delighted to have been retained by a well-capitalised international investor and developer focused on creating best-in-class residential schemes in London and across the UK.

With a significant fund already deployed and a further £300–400m currently being raised, the business is scaling rapidly, acquiring 4–5 large-scale assets annually with a desire to expand into Europe.

The Role

They are seeking to appoint a Development Director to join their lean but ambitious London team. This is a pivotal role in leading the delivery of some of their most exciting and challenging projects.

You will also play a critical part in shaping strategy, governance, and investor reporting, working closely with the UK Head of Development.

What do you need to bring?

• A proven track record in delivering large-scale residential and/or Build-to-Rent schemes in the UK.
• Strong commercial, legal, and construction knowledge (cashflows, JCT contracts, procurement, forward funding).
• Highly numerical with strong financial acumen and financial modelling skills, able to interrogate and build robust cashflows and investment appraisals.
• Ability to identify and diffuse risks early, bringing proactive solutions to senior stakeholders and ExCo.
• High energy, adaptable, and entrepreneurial, comfortable working in a lean team where everyone is hands-on.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with investors, consultants, and contractors alike.

• Salary: £110,000–£120,000 (DOE) + bonus
