Brio Digital is supporting a leading organisation at the forefront of AI innovation to hire an AI Engineering Director - A unique chance to combine engineering expertise, people leadership and senior-level consulting to deliver AI solutions that improve an industry vertical at scale. Applicants must either hold, or be eligible for, UK Security Clearance (SC).
The Role Provide technical authority across multiple large-scale AI/ML programmes, ensuring solutions are robust, scalable, and production-ready. Set the engineering standards , ways of working, and technical excellence benchmarks for teams. Lead and grow teams of engineers and data scientists, supporting career development and fostering a culture of delivery excellence. Operate as a senior consultant , engaging with C-suite and senior government stakeholders to shape strategy, scope projects, and translate business needs into technical solutions. Partner with commercial leaders to identify opportunities, build propositions, and support business growth.
