The Head of Club & Player Management is responsible for leading all aspects of player and club relations for the Esports World Cup (EWC) & Esports Nations Cup (ENC). This role ensures that every participant, from world-class clubs to individual players, receives industry-leading hospitality, operational support, and communication from qualification to competition.

As the central bridge between players, clubs, publishers, and the client, this leader will establish and maintain world-class standards of service, ensuring obligations are met while enhancing the overall tournament experience. This position is both strategic and operational: setting long-term standards, leading a high-performing team, and ensuring flawless delivery on the ground during the live event.

The position provides a unique opportunity to shape the global standard for esports player hospitality at the largest esports events in the world.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead & Oversee: Manage the Club & Player Management team through all phases; planning, preparation, execution, and post-event.
  • Set Standards: Define and deliver world-class hospitality, logistics, and support processes across the player journey.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary contact for clubs, players, and managers, balancing their needs with EWC & ENC obligations.
  • Onboarding & Logistics: Oversee visa, travel, accreditation, accommodation, and on-site support for all participants.
  • Obligations & Media: Manage player obligations (media, content, and commercial activities) in alignment with Product and Tournament Operations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with our client, publishers, and internal stakeholders to align on policies, approvals, and expectations.
  • On-Site Leadership: Ensure seamless delivery at hotels, lounges, transport, and venue, providing visible leadership and rapid problem-solving.
  • Team Development: Mentor and manage Senior/Player Managers, fostering a professional, solution-driven, and service-first team culture.
  • Continuous Improvement: Implement structured feedback loops, including player surveys and post-event reporting, to evolve standards each year.
  • Represent EFG: Build strong, professional relationships across the esports ecosystem, representing EWC's & ENC's hospitality vision globally.

What You'll Bring:

  • 8+ years of experience in player management, hospitality, or esports/sports event operations.
  • Proven leadership of player-facing teams at scale, ideally in international esports or sports tournaments.
  • Deep understanding of esports ecosystems, clubs, and player dynamics.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to manage sensitive situations calmly.
  • High organizational capability: able to balance planning with live-event problem solving.
  • Experience working directly with high-profile stakeholders (clubs, publishers, client partners).
  • Fluent in English (spoken & written); additional languages are an advantage.
  • Strong collaboration skills with cross-departmental teams (operations, broadcast, media, marketing, commercial).
  • Willingness to travel internationally and work extended periods on-site during events.
