OverviewWe invite you to bring your expertise as a Building Services Director to join our Building Services team based in London. Ramboll has ambitious growth plans in the UK, with its thriving UK HQ in London, and seeks to strengthen senior leadership and work-winning capabilities in London to support growth in London and Cambridge. This role reports to the Head of Building Services for London and Cambridge and oversees over 75 MEP engineers, including UK Building Physics and VT teams. We focus on digitally enabled technical delivery, low/NZC building design, and excellent client care, and offer a supportive, collaborative environment for your development and growth. ResponsibilitiesEnhance Ramboll's building services profile in London, the UK, and internationally through networking, seminars, thought leadership, and business development.Support and develop the existing team of Building Services Engineers.Implement our 'Partner for Sustainable Change' strategy.Promote Ramboll's multi-discipline capability locally.Win and deliver projects profitably, taking full technical and commercial project leadership responsibilities.Demonstrate excellent project management and successful project delivery skills.Exhibit technical excellence in sustainable building services design.Manage the financial performance of the team.Attract talented recruits to build a diverse, skilled, and highly regarded team.Coordinate with other UK Building Services teams to optimize workload and capacity.QualificationsBachelor's/Master's in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) and Chartered Engineer status with a proven track record.In-depth knowledge of the Manchester market.Experience leading major projects.Enthusiasm for digital design innovation and smart design.A growing profile as a trusted Building Services leader.Strong client-facing skills, including presenting, negotiating, and procuring resources.Ability to win new business and support market growth.Leadership aptitude and ambition for senior roles.Effective communication skills in English.Personal qualities include being client-focused, detail-oriented, motivating, and confident in peers and clients. #J-18808-Ljbffr
