Director Capture Services, Matterport - London

Matterport is looking for an experienced and well‑rounded Director (GM) to lead the growth of the Capture Services product/business line across the International region including EMEA & APAC. Capture Services is a fully managed solution for Matterport customers who require on‑demand scheduling for experienced and reliable Matterport Capture Technicians to scan their properties. This service provides customers with a seamless experience to leverage the value of a 3D digital twin of a property without any investment in hardware.

Responsibilities

• Directly own the P&L responsibility for the regional Capture Services organization in the international region. Oversee budgets, P&L performance, and optimize financials to reach profitability targets. Sustainably grow the business and identify recurring scan opportunities to ensure a healthy two‑sided marketplace that is profitable from the onset.
• Cultivate an engaged scan service provider community. Manage and set vetting and onboarding requirements for service providers and ensure high satisfaction for community members.
• Manage the Capture Services organization within the region, including hiring and managing performance across high‑performing teams. Oversee local regulatory concerns and local policy.
• Build and develop strong relationships with senior cross‑functional leaders (Sales, Sales Ops, Marketing, People Ops) to successfully drive long‑term growth.

Qualifications

• BA/BS or equivalent in Business or Engineering related fields or equivalent experience. MBA considered highly desirable.
• Proven entrepreneurial experience with startup, operations, consulting, or technology across the EMEA & APAC region. Prior P&L and/or meaningful budget responsibility.
• Strong interpersonal and management skills; ability to build and manage relationships with team, cross‑functional colleagues, and external partners.
• Analytical thinking with data‑driven mentality and strong business judgment. Ability to use data to establish priorities and develop strategy.
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills; effective written, verbal, and presentation abilities.
• Leadership by example, with ability to motivate, inspire, and create a positive work environment. Experience in marketplace‑based business is highly valued.
