Responsibilities
- Strategy: Contribute to the overall eCommerce Sales business agenda to expand electronic distribution, grow volumes and accelerate digitisation across client segments where possible.
- Business: Design and support the delivery of a global client-focused electronic distribution solution across flow asset classes (FX, FXO, Rates, Credit, Commodities) across client segments.
- Client engagement: Engage clients on electronic flows with a client-focused sales approach, anticipating and satisfying requirements.
- Electronic trading: Maintain a strategic understanding of the electronic trading marketplace, focusing on FX Cash, restricted FX, FX Forwards/Swaps & FXO on single dealer channels, APIs and multi-dealer platforms/ECNs.
- Market structure: Discuss market structure, proprietary and multi-dealer platforms, API feeds, STP, and regulatory topics such as mandatory clearing, margin and regulatory reform.
- Product design: Represent Sales in discussions with Trading and Product owners to design the right electronic product/solution for client connectivity.
- Market awareness: Stay informed about market developments and the business environment affecting clients and the Bank.
- Client analytics: Collaborate with Client Analytics and Product teams to design and deliver client performance monitoring tools for electronic flows on active channels.
- Communication: Maintain good communication, be collaborative, share information, and seek diverse perspectives.

- Respond to requests in a timely and efficient manner.
- Collaborate with Trading, Product, COOs, Technology and Operations to simplify processes and maximise STP where possible.
- Take ownership of all aspects of service delivery to clients within Financial Markets, including support functions such as operations.

- Collaborate with risk and control partners and adhere to regulatory regimes.
Risk Management
- Drive a culture of adherence to Group policies and relevant risk areas (credit, operational, reputational, etc.).
- Commitment to Group and Financial Markets Code of Conduct.
- Timely completion of mandatory e-learnings, attestations, and compliance requirements.
Governance
- Understand the regulatory framework and expectations relevant to the role.
- Encourage speaking up in the event of breaches of conduct rules or laws by colleagues.
Regulatory & Business Conduct
- Display exemplary conduct and live the Group's Values and Code of Conduct.
- Take responsibility for embedding high standards of ethics and regulatory compliance across Standard Chartered Bank.
- Identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
