Overview Our global Conventional & Low Carbon Energy team works across conventional oil and gas, carbon capture, sustainable fuels and thermal power. Our ambition is to partner with clients and industry to drive strategy, set up and delivery of major projects and programmes that deliver affordable, secure energy to the world, while transitioning to low carbon. We are seeking a senior director with a proven background in delivering projects and programmes, as well as operational leadership in the conventional and low carbon energy sectors. This person will drive the continued success and expansion of our service offering in the UK and Europe. Responsibilities Lead and shape the continued success and expansion of the Conventional & Low Carbon Energy service offering in the UK and Europe. Drive sector strategy, opportunities, partnerships, capability development, and market offer growth. Serve as a project director / leader on new commissions and provide operational leadership and advisory services for complex projects across the industry. Qualifications
Experience and credibility in the conventional and low carbon markets; knowledge of carbon capture and sustainable fuels schemes is desirable. Established relationships with national and international clients; understanding of strategy, set-up and delivery of capital programmes. Track record of leading teams and advising on complex projects; capability build, operational leadership and business development. Technical understanding of project management, commercial and supply chain management, and project controls. Willingness to travel throughout the UK, with some international travel to support growth of the service offering.

Strategically minded with a consistent leadership approach. Excellent communication and ability to build robust internal and external relationships. Proactive business development, including cross-selling and leading pursuits and tenders. Ability to deliver as a "doer / leader" while building a national pipeline. Visible leadership that inspires and values diverse skills and perspectives. Ability to influence key decision-makers within clients, regulatory bodies, and government.
Knowledge
Extensive construction industry experience in project, programme, cost management or project controls. Experience in the energy sector, ideally low carbon, with a track record delivering major projects and programmes. Understanding of the electricity value chain from generation to grid to supply, and regulatory/permitting requirements and industry trends. UK experience with an established network in the low carbon sector and supply chain. Experience working in both client and consultant environments; experience with global accounts is a plus.
Qualifications
Degree level qualification in construction and/or engineering. Professional chartership desirable.
