Role Summary This executive will drive new-business growth for SVOD platform distribution and telco/aggregator partnerships globally. The role involves sourcing, negotiating, and closing distribution, bundling, and direct carrier billing (DCB) opportunities with mobile operators, cable/IPTV providers, OEMs. The executive manages a high-quality pipeline from prospecting through launch, collaborating cross-functionally to ensure commercial, technical, legal, and marketing readiness. This position aligns with the company’s global strategy for video and gaming digital products and reports directly to the Global VP of Partnerships. Key Responsibilities
Source, negotiate, and close new distribution deals with platforms (e.g., Globo, Claro, OEM app stores, CTV, and DCB content aggregators). Define launch plans covering pricing, offers, merchandising, lifecycle hooks, and KPIs (subs, churn, ARPU, attach). Run business cases and secure favorable terms on rev-share, placements, data access, reporting, and SLAs. Manage partnerships with aggregators for DCB, and Pay-TV/ISPs for bundles, etc. Run QBRs with partners to track performance and unlock additional revenue sources.
Pipeline & New Business Ownership
Maintain a healthy 4× coverage pipeline from prospecting to close with clear stage gates. Manage RFPs/RFIs and partner diligence; coordinate internal approvals with Finance, Legal, Product, Marketing. Produce deal memos, term sheets, and one-pagers to steer negotiations and secure sign-off. Keep up to date on industry changes, partner growth plans and help develop internal knowledge of the business.
Contract, Compliance & Delivery
Negotiate commercial terms and renewals; manage exclusivity and compliance with local data/privacy standards. Translate contracts into deliverables and ensure cross-functional execution of billing, reporting, and QA.
Qualifications
10+ years in business development and distribution partnerships within streaming video, gaming, or telecom ecosystems. Proven success in SVOD and telco distribution deals/partnerships (DCB, cobranded offers, joint marketing). Strong deal modelling and P&L literacy (rev-share, wholesale, bounty, MDF). Fluent English; French or Portuguese desirable. Bachelor’s degree required; MBA/JD strongly preferred.
