We operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week from our 3 operation centres in Australia, Canada, and the United Kingdom, responding to the cries for help we receive from travellers across the globe.ResponsibilitiesAs Director of Global Provider Networks, lead the strategic development and operational excellence of our global provider network.Define and execute the global provider network strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and delivering measurable improvements in service quality and cost efficiency.Oversee the performance of our global network, managing delivery outcomes, service levels, and financial targets across diverse geographies and provider types.Lead the post-acquisition integration of two provider network teams into one unified global function, aligning processes, systems, and people.Design and implement a new organisational structure, roles, and governance model for the integrated networks team; champion change management initiatives to foster engagement and adoption.Design and implement a Global Network Operating Model, introducing best-in-class processes, governance frameworks, and protocols to elevate the customer experience.Lead global cost containment initiatives, identifying opportunities for savings through strategic partnerships, pricing models, and performance-based contracting.Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external providers, building strong relationships and ensuring seamless integration of network operations with broader business functions.Continuously improve network capabilities, leveraging data insights, market intelligence, and innovation to enhance service delivery and brand reputation.QualificationsDemonstrated senior leadership experience in a complex, global environment—ideally within the assistance, healthcare, or travel risk management sectors, where you’ve led teams and driven transformation.Strong commercial and financial acumen, with the ability to manage large-scale budgets, negotiate provider contracts, and deliver measurable cost savings without compromising quality.Experience leading and inspiring global teams, using coaching, mentoring, and structured development plans to build capability, drive engagement, and foster a high-performance culture.Ability to apply critical thinking and sound judgment to solve complex operational challenges, especially in high-pressure or time-sensitive situations where customer outcomes are at stake.Proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement and scalable, sustainable enhancements to systems and processes.Excellent communication and influencing skills, building trusted relationships across cultures and functions, and representing the business with credibility to clients, providers, and industry bodies.Experience championing ethical leadership and inclusion, promoting a safe, respectful, and values-driven workplace that reflects our commitments to optimism, care, reliability, determination, and togetherness.Why join us?We value optimism, caring, togetherness, reliability, and determination.We have more than 2900 employees worldwide and are a global group of digital specialists, actuaries, marketers, doctors, nurses, case managers, claims specialists, finance experts and customer service professionals.
