Specialist Accounting & Finance Recruiter | Amsterdam & LondonAltum Consulting are partnering with a private equity backed consumer business to recruit an Interim Director, Group Reporting (6 month project)This role requires a technically strong, detail-oriented leader with excellent stakeholder management skills, capable of driving high-quality financial reporting while influencing decision-making across the senior leadership team and private equity stakeholders.Role:Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements under IFRS.Own the group consolidation process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.Partner with the CFO and wider executive team to provide insight into financial performance, highlighting risks and opportunities.Manage external audit relationships and ensure all reporting requirements are delivered to the highest standard.Maintain and enhance the group's financial reporting controls and processes.Deliver technical accounting advice on complex transactions, new standards, and ad hoc projects.Drive continuous improvements in systems, processes, and reporting frameworks to support scalability.Act as a key point of contact for the private equity sponsor, providing timely and robust financial information.Influence and challenge senior stakeholders, ensuring decisions are grounded in accurate financial insight.You'll be/have:Qualified accountant (ACA/CA), trained in a Big 4 audit firm.Strong technical knowledge of IFRS, consolidations and leading group reporting.Prior experience in a consumer-facing or private equity-backed business is advantageous but not essential.Excellent communication skills with the confidence and credibility to challenge and influence senior executives.Proactive, resilient, and adaptable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Seniority level: DirectorEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Accounting/AuditingIndustries: Consumer Services #J-18808-Ljbffr
