Global Medical Director – Rare Disease This position is to be based out of either Paris, France or London, UK.As part of the Rare Diseases division, this Global Medical Director role will focus on a launch brand to treat Rare Liver Diseases. This is a very visible role with exposure to working with senior stakeholders and cross functional teams. This is a truly global role and a great opportunity for someone to expand on their global experience or step up from another International/Regional role. For this role it is essential that any interested candidates have international Medical Affairs experience (preferably Global) and ideally worked in Hepatology or Rare Diseases.Key responsibilities:Devise and execute global Medical Affairs launch strategy and planWork closely with cross functional team on integrated plansSupport the development of clinical & real-world evidencePlan and deliver advisory boardsDevelop and lead global congress and symposia activitiesInvolvement in publication planning and speaker training programsEstablish and nurture relationships with KOLs in scientific exchangeProvide medical input into lifecycle management initiativesAttend all relevant major conferencesCandidate Requirements:Higher degree (preferably an MD) in the life sciences or relevant clinical discipline Therapy area experience in Hepatology, Gastroenterology, Rare Disease or the Specialty Medicine space is requiredExperience in an international Medical Affairs setting (preferably Global)Launch experienceStrong leadership, stakeholder management and influencing skillsTo apply for this position please use the “Apply” option or feel free to send your CV directly to the Pharma-Partners team via email info@pharma-partners.co.uk
