Overview

and let's build what's next - together! This role focuses on taking already strong but loosely aligned Agile practices and making them work together seamlessly. The Director of Agile Delivery will sharpen cross-functional connection points such as dependency management, quarterly alignment planning, and our Agile Center of Excellence to deliver impact at scale while preserving team autonomy. The role uses data-driven insights to identify where tighter integration is needed, builds structures that enhance predictability, and supports Agile practices evolving in maturity while remaining adaptable to team context.

Your Impact

  • Ceremonies & Dependency Management: Ensure sprint ceremonies, Scrum of Scrums, and dependency management remain effective, improving their impact quarter on quarter.
  • Change Communication: Roll out changes to practices in a clear, transparent manner, ensuring teams understand what is changing and why.
  • Standards of Excellence: Define what "good" looks like in agile delivery, track adherence, and measure improvements.
  • Agile Centre of Excellence: Lead the Agile CoE to gather feedback, set standards, and champion improvements across the organisation.
  • Shared Accountability: Build a culture of joint ownership across teams for agile practices, ensuring alignment between engineering, product, and delivery functions.
  • Data-Driven Improvement: Use metrics and delivery insights to identify trends and areas requiring intervention.
  • Reporting Parity: Establish reporting structures that provide parity with the PMO, ensuring consistency of outputs for dependencies, progress, milestones, and roadmaps.
  • Capacity Planning: Support effective capacity planning and intake processes for work moving from design into implementation, leveraging tools such as mid-quarter lookahead planning.
  • Roadmap Alignment: Incorporate architectural roadmap feedback into delivery planning, ensuring teams are prepared for upcoming enablement work.
  • Big Room Planning: Facilitate and support Big Room Planning events, including coordination with teams in India.
  • Agile Adaptation: Assess team maturity and adapt agile structures accordingly, knowing when to hold firm on standards and when to flex approaches as the organisation scales.
