Director of Assessment & Diagnostics – HR & Talent Advisory. The Director of Assessments & Diagnostics is responsible for creating, implementing and improving best‑in‑class diagnostics to support the full suite of LHH’s Advisory service. These diagnostics benchmark and evaluate a client’s current state, inform areas of focus and measure outcomes over time. The successful candidate collaborates closely with internal partners to ensure the assessment portfolio supports commercial success in the market. Responsibilities
Define and lead a global product strategy for assessment, diagnostics, and analytics. Integrate assessment offerings into every consulting engagement across leadership, culture, organizational design and change management. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the assessment market across human capital consulting to ensure LHH is innovative and relevant to customers. Oversee resource planning, project delivery, and budget management. Design and evolve high‑impact assessment/diagnostic tools and subsequent outputs that provide measurement at the individual, group and organizational level (not limited to psychometrics). Ensure solutions are evidence‑based, scalable, and commercially viable. Work with go‑to‑market and sales enablement teams to position products with customers. Evolve analytical capabilities through dashboards and aggregate analysis that add critical value to customers during consulting engagements. Leverage generative AI, machine learning, or predictive modeling to create diagnostics that provide scalable, real‑time insights for clients. Lead and sponsor strategic client engagements, including workshops, pilots, and executive presentations. Support business development through proposals and pitches. Monitor solution performance and client satisfaction to drive continuous improvement. Work closely with project delivery teams to ensure engagements are successful and continuous improvement actions are delivered upon.
Qualifications
10+ years experience in leadership development, talent assessment, and human capital consulting or other relevant area. Advanced degree (Master’s or Doctorate) in I/O Psychology, Organizational Development, or related field desirable. Demonstrable deep expertise in psychometric assessment and, ideally, has created non‑psychometric diagnostics (maturity models, leadership capability frameworks, cultural health indices) at an organizational level. Cross‑industry experience in sales, delivery, and implementation of assessment solutions. Prior experience with product development and/or assessment technology is preferred. Strong understanding of people analytics to create aggregate data capabilities. Business savvy with global background as a client‑facing subject‑matter expert. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships quickly through being articulate, credible, and influential. Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and thrive in an entrepreneurial, growth‑oriented environment. Exceptional facilitator with advanced verbal and written communication skills.
