Marks Consulting Partners are currently looking for a Director of Building Safety & Compliance to work with one of our clients in London & Kent What the job will be doing This newly created role reflects the clients commitment to ensuring that the homes we build and manage as the Principal Accountable Person (PAP) are safe, compliant, and well-maintained. The Building Safety Compliance Director will lead the organisation’s response to new legislation relating to high-rise residential buildings (HRBs), ensuring compliance with the Building Safety Act and effective engagement with the Building Safety Regulator (BSR) The postholder will bring extensive knowledge of statutory and regulatory requirements for building safety in a residential housing context. They will champion a culture of safety, influence behaviours across the organisation, and ensure that building safety risks are effectively identified, managed, and mitigated. The role includes formal appointment as a Director of various Resident Management Companies (RMCs), which are designated as the legal entities acting as the Principal Accountable Person (PAP) under the Building Safety Act.
