Overview

The Change Partners are working with an Iconic Travel Brand who are looking for a Director of Commercial Revenue & Analytics.

The ideal candidate will be a key strategic partner, liaising with finance and other teams to make crucial decisions on yield management, pricing, promotions, and overall revenue management.

This position is a direct report to the CCO, requiring a candidate with exceptional executive skills and the capability to lead and influence at the highest levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and implement long- and short-term revenue strategies to achieve business goals.
  • Lead the technology transformation of yield management and reservation software, serving as the primary business lead for these projects.
  • Manage pricing and yield management to meet objectives and ensure profitability.
  • Continuously adapt strategies to the evolving market and environment to maintain competitiveness.
  • Oversee the definition and calculation of budgets and rolling revisions for the commercial area.
  • Own the passenger and freight reporting systems, KPIs, and metrics.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a bi- team, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor behavior, and pricing strategies.
  • Work closely with Marketing, CRM, Operations, and IT to ensure revenue strategies are aligned with wider business objectives.
  • Oversee multi-channel revenue management, including non-direct sales channels like travel agents and tour operators.
  • Responsible for shaping our pricing and revenue strategies as they implement a new booking system.
  • Lead a bi- team, oversee significant technology transformation projects, and continuously adapt our strategies to the evolving market to maintain our competitive edge.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in business intelligence, pricing strategy, and revenue management, preferably within the travel industry.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage complex projects and teams.
  • Understanding of data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Fluency in English (essential) and French (advantageous).
  • A proven ability to make informed, data-driven decisions that drive business performance.
  • Highly analytical, numerate, and structured in your approach to problem-solving. You have a deep understanding of data-driven decision-making and a proven track record of optimising profitability.
