As Director of Equity Research Transformation, you’ll lead the charge in modernizing research practices for banks and asset managers, ensuring that digital adoption achieves measurable efficiency and business value.

We are specifically seeking applicants who are currently heads of research departments (buy-side or sell-side) at leading financial institutions and bring a proven track record of driving advanced research, workflow change, and digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and Inspire: Guide specialist teams to identify, prioritize, and validate use cases that boost analyst efficiency and maximize the business impact of our tools for financial institutions.

• Client Advocacy: Act as the strategic liaison with banks, asset managers, and investment funds—demonstrating ROI and championing our platform at industry events.

• EQL Growth Champion: Creatively support and scale company growth by building relationships, opening doors to new institutional clients, and amplifying our value proposition across key markets.

• Transform Research Operations: Drive best practice adoption, oversee automation playbooks, and maintain direct feedback loops with institutional users to ensure continuous product improvement.

• Commercial & Strategic Partner: Work closely with senior leadership to shape go-to-market strategy, talent development, and industry thought leadership initiatives.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience as Head of Research (buy-side or sell-side) at a major asset manager, bank, or investment firm.

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in equity research, investment management, or related fields.

• Demonstrated success with workflow/design automation, financial platform adoption, and leading high-calibre research teams.

• Strong communicator, recognized for industry thought leadership and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
