What you’ll be doing

  • Lead all financial oversight and regulatory compliance for Dignity's Funeral Plan Trusts, ensuring solvency, integrity, and sustainability of these assets.
  • Own financial strategy, investment oversight, risk mitigation, and FCA submissions; collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
  • Provide clear financial insight to trustees, the CFO, and senior leadership; support strategic planning and contingency design (including Wind Down Planning).
  • Coordinate with auditors, actuaries, investment managers, and the wider Dignity leadership team.

What you’ll bring

  • Senior-level finance experience in regulated sectors—funeral plans, trusts, pensions, insurance, or financial services.
  • Strong grasp of trust accounting, solvency assessment, investment oversight, and FCA regulation.
  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • Proven ability to lead teams, influence senior stakeholders, and perform under pressure.
  • High professional integrity with a genuine interest in protecting people’s futures.
