\n\nOtto James Consulting have been retained by a Cheshire based, cutting-edge iGaming technology provider with operations in the United Kingdom and in Central Europe.
\nOur client is looking for a skilled and dynamic executive to join their finance leadership team as their Director of Group Finance and Controls.
\n
\nYou will be responsible for managing all financial reporting elements for EMEA entities and branches, as well as day-to-day accounting operations and ensuring all financial information's accuracy, integrity, and timeliness.
\n
\nYour Role
\n
\nAs our Director of Group Finance and Controls, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of our European operations.
\n
\nThe successful candidate will manage the financial health of the company, regulatory compliance, and strategic alignment with company objectives. This role involves collaboration with senior leadership and management of the finance team to drive company-wide financial performance. You will oversee a diverse range of responsibilities, including:
\n
\nLead and inspire a talented team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
\nManage the full spectrum of financial reporting for our EMEA entities and branches, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and timeliness.
\nOversee day-to-day accounting operations, including intercompany transactions, regulatory reporting, and payroll processing.
\nEstablish and maintain robust internal control frameworks, mitigating risks and optimising efficiency.
\nDrive initiatives to automate and streamline accounting processes, enhancing productivity and accuracy.
\nCollaborate closely with our global finance team, to ensure consistent and compliant financial reporting.
\nEstablish internal controls and support audit processes.
\nProvide financial oversight for all projects /services, including profitability and cost control.
\nCollaborate with Commercial & Operations managers to align budgets and forecasts with operational targets.
\nLead the finance team, fostering growth and promoting a high-performance culture.
\nEnsure compliance with relevant industry regulations and manage relationships with auditors and regulatory bodies.

\nYour Profile
- \n\t
- ACA, ACCA, or equivalent \n\t
- Experience in a NASDAQ Listed business will be seen as a plus, but not essential \n\t
- A proven track record of leading finance teams, implementing internal controls, and driving process improvements \n\t
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills \n\t
- A proactive and solution-oriented approach \n
Salary & Benefits
\n\n- \n\t
- Salary at c£110,000 to £115,000 basic plus bonus \n\t
- 25 days paid holiday plus bank holidays \n\t
- Pension (up to 9% matched) \n\t
