With operations in 9 countries and a turnover of £32M, they now seek a new, experienced and dynamic Group Sales Director to drive their global growth strategy, while managing the day-to-day operational sales functions.

Role Responsibilities

• Own and drive a global sales strategy using strategic and commercial leadership.
• Drive sales performance and profitability in international branches, and drive sales and market expansion in local (and diversified) sales divisions.
• Collaborate with the Board to make high-level commercial decisions.
• Develop and manage annual sales forecasts, strategic plans and budgets with regional teams and hold full turnover and P&L responsibility.
• Set and monitor lead generation and sales targets with the Marketing team.
• Conduct commercial performance analysis and implement strategies to maximise turnover and profitability. Oversee commercial product management.
• Lead 6 senior country managers and oversee 40+ international sales professionals.
• Oversee international trade show participation and industry events.

Person Specification

• Demonstrable experience as Sales Director or Senior Sales Leader in a technical organisation.
• Strong track record in managing international sales teams and export operations.
• Understanding and knowledge of technical instrumentation/metrology.
• Willing to travel internationally on a monthly basis.
• Happy to commute to the office in Send, Surrey or willing to relocate to achieve this, in due course.
