Overall purpose: The Director of Income and Engagement will lead a team of talented fundraising and communication professionals to drive the successful achievement of Breaking Barriers 2030 goals. They will develop strategies, identify key opportunities, steward donors, and motivate the team to achieve ambitious income targets.

The Director will be a key member of the Senior Leadership team, working closely with colleagues to maximise strategic opportunities and drive organisational culture and performance. They will be an experienced fundraiser with a track record of achieving sustainable growth, leading and nurturing income-generating teams, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements

  • Develop strategies across all streams and the wider fundraising team
  • Identify key opportunities for income stream development and innovation
  • Steward key donors and motivate a diverse team to achieve ambitious income targets
  • Lead and nurture income-generating teams across diverse income streams
