Our client is an independent charity that brings young people and employers together to deliver high-quality paid employability skills training, paid work experience, and mentoring. The foundation works to increase social mobility across the UK by inspiring young people through career support, ensuring employers engage and recruit FSM young people, and ensuring the future of work is inclusive for all young people.

The Director of Income Development & Partnerships will lead the foundation’s ambitious income generation and engagement strategy with excellent leadership from the CEO and Senior Leadership Team.

Director of Income Development & Partnerships

Permanent

Locations: London, Birmingham, Manchester or Glasgow with hybrid working 1 day per week in the office

Salary: £88,047 + £5,499.96 car allowance

Responsibilities

  • Drive income diversification for the organisation and expand private sector partnerships, donations, grants and other fundraising streams to achieve income generation growth.
  • Set income generation and strategic partnership strategies to drive growth and support the foundation’s objectives.
  • Provide strategic leadership on the Leadership Team and oversee a fundraising team to deliver success.
  • Lead key income generation and strategic partnership relationships to increase income and build impactful partnerships for the foundation.

Qualifications and experience

  • Evidence of extensive high-value fundraising experience in complex organisations, with notable examples of securing multi-year five- and six-figure relationships from corporates, HNWIs, events, trusts and foundations.
  • Proven experience leading successful teams to achieve income and engagement growth at a multimillion-pound level.
  • Senior leadership experience; ideally with knowledge of the social mobility, youth, or employability sectors.
  • Commitment to an inclusive culture and alignment with the foundation’s mission and values.
