They have an excellent reputation providing very solid financial advice to both private and corporate clients who lives in Surrey, Sussex & Hampshire. They have a large book of business (close to £300m AUM) who are City professionals, families, retirees, and business owners with £500k to invest on average and their top customer holding £15m+ to invest. This boutique firm has a team of Chartered Advisers and a full administrative and paraplanning team.Role and responsibilitiesThe business has a very ambitious 5-year growth plan. The Managing Director is seeking a brand Operations Director to lead the strategic delivery of this growth plan. You will have a proven track record of delivery in a similar role within financial services whether it be wealth management, investment management, asset management or similar of delivering a strategic growth plan and growing a business from an operational perspective. The Managing Director will not be selling the business or becoming part of a network or similar. You will be supported by an experienced team of administrators, paraplanners, operations and practice management. You will sit on the board of directors and the executive team and have a leading say in the running of the business moving forward.Key qualificationsSenior leadership experience in a regulated financial services firmProven success in leading multi-disciplinary teams across multiple sitesDeep understanding of FCA regulations and risk managementGood understanding of operational governanceStrong strategic thinking with a hands-on, solutions-focused mindsetTrack record of delivering major change and transformation projectsPassion for client service and operational excellenceCommercial awareness and ability to drive efficiency and profitabilityExperience in scaling businesses and managing through growth phasesIf you’re looking for an opportunity to be part of a growing business, have a genuine impact on the roll out of a well-established growth strategy and have equity in a business, then this will be perfect for you.
