IPS Group is currently working with Railpen on an exciting opportunity for a Director of Pensions Administration to join the Member Services Leadership team, reporting to the Chief Officer, Member Services, on a permanent basis. The role supports hybrid working, with regular weekly presence required in Darlington. Travel and accommodation costs can be paid for non-local applicants interested in this opportunity.

About the Role

The Member Services unit is entering a transformative phase under new leadership, focusing on a member-first vision. This is a time of change, challenge, and opportunity, requiring a leader ready to lead from the front.

As Director of Administration, you will oversee the pension administration for Railpen, serving approximately [number] members within the Railway Pension Scheme, covering complex DB, hybrid, CARE, and DC products and services.
