The college has a strong financial position, with extensive recent and current investment in our facilities.

We’re seeking an inspirational Director of Personal Development to join our senior leadership team and lead the strategic vision for personal growth, career progression, enrichment, and student voice across our vibrant college community.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Directing the strategic and operational initiatives aimed at enhancing personal development, progression, careers education and student enrichment to encompass lifelong learning and career advancement for all students and apprentices.
  • Effective planning that supports student progression beyond individual courses, fostering a holistic approach to personal and professional growth
  • Work to implement initiatives that yield short, medium, and long-term benefits for students. This encompasses a spectrum of support services, career guidance, and experiential learning opportunities and enrichment
  • Enable a culture of responsiveness and collaboration, ensuring that the college remains agile and responsive to the needs of its community

About You

  • Proven, consistent delivery of success as the accountable person for improving student outcomes as the leader of a curriculum or cross-college department
  • Professional Teaching Qualification
  • Management Qualification or relevant experience
  • Proven ability and success in matrix management leading to improved student experience and outcomes
