We’re looking for a dedicated Director of Practice to lead our well-established small animal veterinary hospital. This pivotal role is about inspiring and supporting the whole team (from vets and nurses to client care staff), fostering a positive culture, and ensuring the highest standards of care for our patients and their owners.

This is a 40-hour per week, Monday to Friday, on-site position. You’ll play a key role in supporting the hospital team and ensuring smooth operations across the practice. From driving efficiency to nurturing a culture of collaboration and excellence, you’ll help maintain the exceptional standards our clients and patients expect.

About the Practice

Oakham Veterinary Hospital is a dynamic, multi-disciplinary practice with 7.4 FTE small animal veterinarians, including a surgery certificate holder and an advanced cardiology practitioner, providing a strong foundation of clinical expertise.

Our equine hospital, separately led on-site, delivers specialist care for equine patients, making Oakham a truly diverse and collaborative environment.

We’re equipped with advanced facilities, including an on-site CT scanner, enabling cutting-edge diagnostics and treatment. With a culture built on professional development, teamwork, and exceptional patient care, Oakham Veterinary Hospital offers an exciting and rewarding place to lead.
