Director of Product Design

London (remote first) | Permanent | £100–130k + Stock Options | Hybrid / Remote

We’re working with a global tech company looking to hire a Director of Product Design to lead a key cross-functional product design team. This is a pivotal leadership role with responsibility for design strategy, team development, and deep collaboration across Product, Engineering, and broader business functions.

The Opportunity

• Lead a high-impact, globally distributed product design team
• Own and evolve end-to-end user experience across a complex digital platform
• Partner with senior stakeholders across disciplines to drive business and user value
• Shape and scale design operations, systems, and processes
• Champion innovation, including exploration of emerging technologies and tooling

What You’ll Bring

• 10+ years in product design, with 4+ years in a leadership capacity
• Strong UX and product design fundamentals, ideally in B2B or SaaS environments
• Experience managing and mentoring distributed teams
• Expertise in user-centred design, systems thinking, and design process leadership
• Excellent communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills
• A confident, autonomous leadership style with a proactive mindset
