The Role: Director of Purchasing Reporting directly to the Manufacturing Director, you will oversee the entire procurement function, managing a team of six experienced buyers, and take ownership of the sourcing strategy for steel, components, and subcontract services — predominantly in the UK, but overseas also. You will be accountable for ensuring quality, cost-efficiency, and continuity of supply across a complex supply chain, while also driving rebate income, cost savings, and supplier performance improvements.
