Are you a strategic, results-driven sales leader ready to make a real impact? The Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa, Sligo is seeking an experienced Director of Sales to take ownership of our sales function and drive revenue growth across MICE, corporate, leisure, and wedding markets.

This is a key leadership role where you’ll shape the hotel’s sales strategy, foster strong client relationships, and lead a high-performing team to deliver exceptional results.

About the Role

As Director of Sales, you will:

  • Take full responsibility for delivering on revenue targets across MICE, corporate, leisure, and wedding business.

  • Lead and inspire the Sales and Meetings & Events team, ensuring alignment with business goals.

  • Secure new business opportunities through proactive sales campaigns, client engagement, and networking.

  • Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and local business networks.

  • Manage key accounts and develop new corporate relationships.

  • Collaborate closely with the General Manager, Group Director of Sales, and Group Marketing team to execute commercial plans.

  • Ensure effective use of CRM systems and deliver best-in-class client experiences during site visits and events.

What We’re Looking For

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a senior hotel sales role, ideally within the MICE, corporate, or wedding market.

  • Strong knowledge of current trends in hotel sales and marketing.

  • Proven leadership ability, with a proactive and strategic approach.

  • Excellent communication, networking, and relationship-building skills.

  • Highly organised, with the ability to multi-task and perform under pressure.
