Formed in 2018 RFL Property Services is a 100% wholly owned subsidiary of Royal Free London Foundation Trust and has embarked on a journey of transformational change in the way estate services are delivered within the NHS and deliver a ground-breaking operating model for services that overcome traditional organisational boundaries.
What are we looking for?
With our ambitious future growth plan, we are now seeking an inspiring, passionate and resilient senior leader with significant years of experience in leading multi-disciplinary consultancy services to join RFL Property Services to lead sustainable and measurable business growth and new market expansion.
Main duties and responsibilities include:
- Lead the planning, developing and delivering of multi-disciplinary consultancy services while ensuring a common understanding of RFL Property Services’ short-term and long-term consultancy strategy to deliver sustainable organisational growth and user experience in complex, challenging and demanding environments.
- Work closely with the Managing Director and be responsible for the development of commercially sound business plans and initiatives that are optimised for both short-term and long-term organisational growth and business successes.
- Play a key role in identifying new market opportunities, building strategic partnerships that will go beyond the healthcare settings and optimise client engagement and satisfaction to drive continuous and sustainable business growth, market expansion and long-term income generation and profitability.
- Responsible for driving the business in line with its strategic plan and business growth objectives, maintaining high quality of service and customers care; construct and maintain strong team capability and competence, aligned to commissions, high quality standards, new business opportunities, and effective communications with shareholders plus existing and potential customers.
- Develop and execute commercially focused client centric consultancy services, and deliver strategies, goals and objectives for capital projects and transformation programmes aligned to RFLPS organisational values and business strategies while ensuring the delivery of the highest standard of client experience within agreed profit margin.
- Create and manage all new business development opportunities; put in place new initiatives to take advantage of market opportunities, reduce operational threats, forestall business risks, maximise core strengths and optimises cross selling all aspects of RFLPS service offerings to the benefit of the customer.
- Be an Executive Director, holding a seat on the RFLPS Board and will take on the additional legal responsibilities set out in company law.
- Provide strategic and visible leadership, effective management of the full consultancy services and hold full service/project/programme delivery, commercial and budgetary accountability for the consultancy services to ensure synergy across project delivery and the successful delivery of all consultancy services to RFLPS’s clients.
What do we need?
- Educated to master’s degree in relevant discipline or equivalent experience
- Chartered professional registration/accreditation in relevant discipline (APM, PMI or CMI etc).
- Significant experience working at a Senior Director level within a multi-disciplinary Consultancy Services in a medium size organisation within public, education or healthcare setting.
- Track record of building and leading a multi-disciplinary team to successfully deliver organisational growth goals and market expansion.
- Proven experience in successfully establishing, developing and implementing optimal, multi-disciplinary and commercially focused consultancy service strategies and business plans that support an organisation’s long-term growth strategy.
