About the role This is a significant leadership role with real influence. You’ll be responsible for shaping EMCCA’s transport strategy and ensuring the effective delivery of a £2 billion investment programme over the next seven years. This funding will be used to deliver a modern, reliable, and integrated transport system across the region, with a particular focus on driving growth, transforming infrastructure to support the delivery of new homes and improve access to opportunity for all, and decarbonising transport by promoting modal shift from cars to public transport, walking and cycling.
