Responsibilities

  • Lead presales capability and strategy for the Financial Services team, setting the agenda for demonstration capability and execution
  • Inspire and manage a team of Presales Solution Consultants; create a repeatable process to drive results across a multi-fold agenda
  • Ensure Solution Consultants demonstrate relevance to customers, fully discover business and technical problems, deliver high-quality presentations and demonstrations, execute proofs of concept as needed, and document business value to be delivered
  • Guarantee customer commitment to the ServiceNow solution
  • Develop team members according to business demands and individual professional goals
  • Develop and maintain a recruiting pipeline of potential SC candidates to meet future needs
  • Collaborate with regional sales managers to prioritize regional Solution Consulting efforts
  • Assign resources to sales opportunities, monitor progress against goals, and allocate resources to marketing and other demand-generation efforts
  • Develop and deploy team training curriculums to meet changing sales organization demands
  • Evaluate team members regularly through direct observation, peer feedback, and sales feedback
  • Align resources and optimize utilization of skill sets within the assigned region
  • Manage day-to-day activities such as resource scheduling, expense review/approval, and activity reporting

Qualifications

  • Experience integrating AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving using AI-powered tools or AI-driven insights
  • Strong pre-sales experience as both an individual contributor and a leader, preferably at ServiceNow
  • At least 4 years of Solution Consulting leadership experience transforming and developing teams with a SaaS platform provider
  • Thought leadership in storytelling with software; ability to coach and develop early-career and senior individual contributors
  • Ability to build trust and relationships inside and outside the SC organization; capable of leading through influence across a complex sales ecosystem
  • Front of the line leader with long-term alignment and flexible approach to achieve outcomes
  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow sales and engagement processes and business value
  • Ability to clearly articulate the power and value of the ServiceNow platform
  • Experience working in a fast-growing IT environment (software, cloud, or customer experience of the same)
  • Experience in Financial Services and Banking markets; experience selling to and gaining access to customers’ senior management
  • Understanding of coaching, mentoring, and management of individual contributors
  • Deep experience in Value-Based Selling or Solution Selling
  • Thorough understanding of the SaaS market space, PaaS-based solutions, and broad Service Management practices
