Overview

OpenText is seeking a highly experienced product management leader to drive the Developer Cloud initiative for the OpenText Cloud Platform (OCP). The role focuses on transforming the developer experience and building a thriving ecosystem for internal and external developers, as well as AI agents, to create the next generation of business applications on the platform.

OpenText Cloud Platform (OCP) is an Information Management as a Service platform. The Developer Cloud initiative enables programmatic access to OpenText services, allowing customers and partners to extend and customize SaaS applications and integrate information management capabilities into business applications.

What the Role Offers

• Product Vision & Strategy: Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Developer Cloud, identifying market opportunities and setting a clear path for a suite of APIs, SDKs, tools, and SaaS applications.
• Transforming the Developer Experience: Create a delightful and frictionless developer experience from first interaction.
• Strategic Alignment: Partner with PM leadership across business units to align the Developer Cloud roadmap with the OpenText Cloud Platform strategy and secure buy-in and resources.
• Ecosystem Development & Extension: Drive adoption by enabling customers and partners to extend and customize SaaS applications on the OCP; foster a robust partner ecosystem.
• Go-to-Market & Business Development: Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy to drive adoption, fostering a platform-first mindset and a compelling value proposition for developers, partners, and AI integrators.
• Leadership & Execution: Lead and mentor a team of product managers and collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and support for successful launches and ongoing success.

Responsibilities

• Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Developer Cloud, including APIs, SDKs, tools, and SaaS applications.
• Define and implement the developer experience strategy from first interaction onward.
• Collaborate with PM leadership and business units to align roadmaps with broader OCP strategy.
• Enable ecosystem growth by supporting customers and partners to extend and customize OpenText SaaS applications on the OCP.
• Develop and execute GTM plans to drive platform adoption.
• Lead and mentor product managers and coordinate across engineering, design, marketing, sales, and support teams.

What You Need To Succeed

• Product management experience with a focus on B2B SaaS platforms, APIs, and developer-facing products.
• Proven experience leading product teams and launching large-scale developer platforms or ecosystems.
• Deep understanding of the API economy and the needs of both human and machine API consumers.
• Experience with or knowledge of the AI agent ecosystem, including function calling, tool use, and API readiness for LLMs.
• Expertise in secure information management, data governance, and cloud compliance.
• Strong technical acumen with the ability to engage in detailed architectural and technical discussions with engineering teams.
