VACANCY REF: CK3244238Are you a Quantity Surveyor with a consultancy or client-side background looking for a new challenge? This is a rare chance to join a well-respected, well-funded business that is shaping the built environment across the region.The RoleThis position is ideal for a candidate with experience gained in a consultancy, developer, or end-user environment. Please note: we are not looking for applications from main contractor QSs for this particular role.Key responsibilities will include:Providing initial cost advice and feasibility assessments for potential developmentsPreparing and managing detailed, accurate cost plans and project budgetsLeading commercial management from inception through to completionProducing tender documentation and negotiating with contractors and suppliersAdministering JCT Design & Build contractsOverseeing cost reporting, value engineering, cash flow management, and dispute resolutionSupporting internal stakeholders with financial data to support funding requestsManaging final accounts, retentions, warranties, and associated contractual documentationBuilding and maintaining relationships with internal teams and external partnersCandidate ProfileWe are looking for a proactive, commercially minded individual who enjoys working on fast-paced, complex developments. You will need:A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related disciplineMRICS qualification preferred, with a minimum of 5 years post-qualification experienceA background in consultancy, client-side or development roles (non-contracting)Experience in the living sector or PBSA is desirable, but not essentialA strong understanding of JCT Design & Build contractsExcellent communication and negotiation skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamA full UK driving licence and willingness to travel throughout the UK as requiredWhy Join?This is a fantastic opportunity to join a progressive, values-led developer at a time of significant growth.
