We are actively seeking a driven Director of Project Delivery for investment projects in Thames Valley Park/Reading. Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates and their families, if needed.
The Director of Project Delivery in the UK is responsible for planning, managing, and executing investment projects through all phases, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards. The role includes leadership of project teams and maintaining relationships with vendors and contractors.
What you’ll do:
- Ensure compliance with all safety policies, rules, and regulations
- Execute technical aspects of CAPEX projects according to scope, budget, and schedule
- Create and implement engineering plans to meet project objectives through various phases
- Coordinate and manage project teams for efficient collaboration
- Monitor project progress and address potential issues
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and legal requirements
- Maintain relationships with vendors and contractors to ensure quality and timeliness
- Develop and communicate technical standards for projects
- Resolve complex technical issues during projects
- Ensure technical aspects meet GMP and other industry standards
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior management
What we’re looking for:
- Master’s Degree or equivalent in Engineering or related science
- Experience in project engineering and management in the biologics pharmaceutical industry with international exposure
- Knowledge of engineering disciplines in pharmaceutical environments, including utilities, process, automation, instrumentation, and civil engineering
- Proven experience in cost control and scheduling for investment projects
- Experience designing compliant, cost-effective facilities
- Knowledge of CQV approaches to minimize time to production while maintaining compliance
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively
- Proficiency in English
