Overview

As a Director, Quality Assurance, you will drive the quality strategy and lead the end-to-end QA process at iPipeline, a global leader in digital insurance and financial services software solutions.

About iPipeline: Founded in 1995, iPipeline operates as a business unit of Roper Technologies. We provide comprehensive and integrated digital solutions for the life insurance and financial services industries in North America, and for life insurance and pensions in the UK. We couple a large data library with expansive digital and automated platforms to accelerate, automate, and simplify applications, processes, and workflows from quote to commission.

Responsibilities

  • Set and execute a comprehensive quality strategy to deliver robust, reliable software on time and within budget.
  • Lead and develop a team of quality professionals, fostering accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Design and implement testing frameworks and ensure the QA team has the tools to optimize testing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with product management, R&D, Professional Services, and other cross-functional teams to align goals and quality standards.
  • Drive defect reduction and issue resolution to improve product performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Define and track key quality metrics and provide senior leadership with insights and reports on testing effectiveness.
  • Ensure delivery of high-quality software that meets or exceeds customer expectations and supports long-term reliability.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Demonstrable experience in software quality assurance, with significant leadership experience in QA.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead QA teams in software or technology-driven environments.
  • Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of QA methodologies, testing tools, automation frameworks, and the software development lifecycle.
  • Strategic Mindset: Strong critical-thinking and strategic planning skills with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Collaboration: Excellent cross-functional leadership and communication skills, with ability to work closely with product and software development teams.
