OverviewDirector / Senior Director, Business Relationship Management (BRM) - Corporates - London. Fitch Ratings is seeking a Director/Senior Director based in our London office within the Business & Relationship Management (BRM) group for EMEA Corporates. BRM leads business development and marketing efforts for Fitch Ratings.Fitch Ratings is one of the world’s leading credit ratings agencies, providing credit analysis, ratings, research, and commentary to financial market participants. Fitch is part of Fitch Group, with global operations and dual headquarters in London and New York.What You Will DoOriginate new business in the Nordic countries through banker/intermediary relationships (DCM / Syndicate / Origination / LevFin) and direct marketing to prospective corporate issuers in the region.Develop a network of intermediaries (DCM, Syndicate, origination) who will invite Fitch to pitch on deals; directly pitch to corporate issuer targets, rated or unrated.Map Fitch’s EMEA banker coverage and work with peers covering intermediaries in London; understand and prioritise new targets to maximise opportunities.Develop understanding of the credit rating landscape and articulate the benefits of Fitch to clients.Manage a small portfolio of Nordic-based corporate issuer relationships in the first year; work with Marketing Research Associates on marketing materials and pitchbooks.Handle execution tasks including contract negotiations, Engagement Letters, Confidentiality Agreements, and Hold Harmless Letters for rating mandates.Develop creative marketing ideas (e.g., tailored webinars and campaigns) and travel frequently around the Nordics.Support one or more business initiatives in the broader EMEA region as required.What You Need To HaveThis role requires an understanding of corporate finance and the debt capital markets landscape (Investment Grade, High Yield, Leveraged Finance), ideally from origination or advisory experience. As this is a business development role, you should be able to generate revenue from both established and self-managed prospect lists.
