Overview
Join our team as a motivated Strategy and PMO Director. Drive Lab Plastics Essentials' future by implementing strategic plans and leading the Project Management organization.
Responsibilities
- Strategy: Partner with the division leadership team to develop and refine the division’s long-term strategic plan. Develop and track important metrics to measure progress towards strategic goals. Lead planning sessions and workshops across the organization, and coordinate the annual STRAP process. Develop and curate operations network strategy across all sites and supply chain. Communicate the strategic vision and goals to all employees.
- Project Management Office (PMO): Lead and manage the PMO team, setting vision, direction, and performance expectations. Develop and implement project management methodologies, standard processes, and tools. Ensure consistent application of project management processes across all functions and Business Units. Establish and manage a comprehensive project portfolio, prioritizing projects based on strategic alignment and demonstrating the value of the Big Rocks and A3 processes. Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and mitigating risks. Provide mentorship and support to project managers throughout the project lifecycle. Lead process improvement efforts for the division, striving to enhance operational effectiveness throughout the organization. Develop a roadmap of projects that deliver significant value across business units and functions.
- Additional Responsibilities: Manage the PMO budget and resources effectively. Conduct post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and improve future performance. Collaborate with other departments, like Finance, HR, and IT, to guarantee alignment and backing for central initiatives.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in a senior leadership role within strategy, project management, or a related field.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful strategic plans.
- Extensive knowledge of project management methodologies and standard processes (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Experience leading and managing a high-performing team.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, or a related field; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
