Our team partners across Expedia Group to turn long-range strategy into results. We lead multi-year plans, translate priorities into measurable outcomes, and drive cross-functional execution with Product & Tech, Commercial, Finance, Analytics and Marketing.
In this role you own a portfolio of strategic initiatives that move the Hotels business forward. You’ll identify opportunities, frame choices, set bold but credible goals, run an inclusive decision cadence, and ensure the work lands through clear owners, milestones, and measurement. You’ll switch contexts easily—from supply & demand connection, to advertising innovation, to commercial model evolution—based on where the business needs the most lift.
If you enjoy being results-oriented, collaborative, and owning end-to-end strategic projects then join this dynamic and mighty team!
Responsibilities

- Collaborate cross-functionally to inspire change by identifying and implementing the best ways of working across the organization
- Drive decision-making and alignment by working across E4B and Expedia Group
- Lead strategic projects and lead investigations to drive the business forward
- Facilitate the delivery of the annual plan and divisional scorecard results
- Develop recommendations and present the business case for change, including viability of solution, implementation considerations, and an implementation roadmap
- Inspire and gain the commitment of others towards the vision, mission, values and organizational goals
- Hold yourself accountable for setting and meeting departmental goals
- Help team members identify and build key relationships and networks inside and outside the organization
- Examples of initiatives: Identifying and launching new products or business models, pricing and go-to-market strategy, sales and operational efficiency, supply/demand investments, etc
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy/operations at a technology, marketplace, travel, or ad/marketing tech company, or top tier consulting with in-house operating experience
- Demonstrated ability to own a multi-topic strategy portfolio and land outcomes through others (Influence > Org). Comfortable spanning commercial, product, data, and operating model work
- Experience with two-sided marketplaces, partner segmentation, and commercial models
- Familiarity with Hotels ecosystem topics (e.g., supply/demand connections, competitiveness guardrails, partner programs, advertising/visibility tooling, or agency/API enablement)
- You bring excellent quantitative, analytical and critical thinking skills and an ability to translate metrics, research and trends into viable strategies
- You have excellent oral and written communication skills to communicate issues and influence others, including experience communicating complex information to senior leaders
- You see the big picture and effectively prioritize and drive multiple projects
- You are a self-starter who can excel in a fast-paced and fluid environment
- You are a team player who actively promotes and encourages diversity of thought
- Expert level knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint and proven experience in modeling, analysis, research and presentation creation
