RPS is seeking a Transport Planning Director to join the UK Transport Planning Team. The key responsibility in this role is to identify new opportunities to expand our client base and contribute to RPS’s growth and success. We bring our transport planning expertise to various sectors, including energy generation, residential, commercial, sporting, leisure, health, and educational land uses.

What you’ll be doing

You will generate new business from your existing client base, recruit and develop your team, and provide clients with expert transport planning advice to ensure the success of their land use development projects.

You will have autonomy, with full support from the wider Transport Team, to build the business, supporting developers, housebuilders, and infrastructure providers.

We seek an experienced transport planner familiar with this sector. The ideal candidate will have excellent client contacts, strong communication, leadership, and management skills, and the financial acumen to meet P&L targets.
