Overview

Director, Valuations, Financial Services, Deals – PwC UK. Join PwC Deals Valuations as a Director in London or Manchester, leading and expanding our Valuation practice. You will work nationally, focusing on the Southeast if based in London, or the North of England and Scotland if in Manchester. You will engage with a range of clients, from start-ups to global organizations, providing valuation support across various stages of development. You will collaborate with broader Deals and Regulatory practices, including valuations of large banks, asset managers, insurers, and loan portfolios, and support our audit practice as a valuations expert for clients including FTSE 100 companies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee valuation engagements.
• Write and review valuation reports and analyses, and communicate findings to senior stakeholders.
• Build and manage client relationships, focusing on existing and new projects.
• Coach valuation staff on technical skills, industry knowledge, and commercial acumen.
• Collaborate with wider Deals and local partners to manage client relationships.

Qualifications and Skills

• Confident and proactive valuation expert with industry experience in financial services.
• Deep financial modeling skills; experience with tools such as Alteryx and Power BI is desirable.
• Relevant industry qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, or CFA.
• Strong communication, client relationship development, and people management skills.
• Technical expertise in valuations, including shares, debt, and intangible assets; ability to articulate the importance of technology and AI.
