We are recruiting for a Divisional Finance Director position on behalf of a leading hospitality group based in Birmingham.

The Divisional Finance Director will be a key member of the leadership team, driving the financial strategy, ensuring robust governance, and supporting operational excellence across the business. This is a hands-on role requiring strong leadership skills, robust analytical/commercial acumen, and the ability to partner with Senior Management Teams at both divisional and group level.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the financial strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
• Review monthly operating results, provide clear and insightful financial reporting to the senior management team
• Oversee all aspects of financial management including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, and risk management.
• Partner with the CEO and leadership team on strategic decision-making, growth opportunities, and operational efficiencies.
• Develop annual budgets alongside the Financial Controller and Dept leads.
• Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Drive systems and process improvements to enhance financial controls, and reporting accuracy.

About You:

• Proven track record as a FD, CFO or similar level
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance strategic vision and operational detail.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills, able to influence at all levels.
• Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
