Assystem’s Fusion and Modular Nuclear (FMN) business is driving cutting-edge work on SMR, AMR and fusion projects. You’ll collaborate with leading minds across energy sectors while delivering complex, high-impact missions alongside your future team. **The Job Mission** This strategic leadership role centres on delivering major engineering programmes across the nuclear lifecycle. ️ Lead strategic engineering bids and multi-disciplinary project delivery. ️ Manage capability development across engineering and technical disciplines. ️ Drive governance, quality compliance and SQEP competence. ️ Represent Assystem in joint ventures and integrated client teams. ️ Shape pursuit strategies and oversee programme delivery outcomes. ️ Build trusted client relationships and influence senior decision-makers. ️ Support project compliance.**Required Skills and Qualifications****Essential Skills** Proven engineering leadership in nuclear. Track record in engineering project and stakeholder management. Familiarity with UK regulatory frameworks. Ability to lead teams in complex, regulated environments. Degree-qualified in engineering (or equivalent). Experienced in performance management and people development. Comfortable working in consortia and JV settings.**Desired Skills** Knowledge of NEC3/NEC4 contracts and risk/change control. Major bid or pursuit leadership experience.
