Our client is a global brand long known for workplace technology, but they are now rapidly expanding into IT infrastructure, services, and software. Under new senior leadership, they are building a London-based outbound sales team from the ground up. The first senior hire they want to make is a Sales Director – New Business Acquisition, leading enterprise-level growth and helping to redefine the way this business sells into the UK market.

Expect a salary of £140 – 160k, OTE up to £280k uncapped with accelerators, car allowance, plus benefits, and the career-defining opportunity to lead a transformation inside one of the most recognisable names in the sector.

What you’ll be doing

  • Designing and delivering the new business acquisition strategy for enterprise accounts
  • Leading, coaching, and scaling a new outbound sales team
  • Personally engaging and closing high-value enterprise deals (£10m–£100m)
  • Collaborating with pre-sales, SMEs, and specialist teams to win complex opportunities
  • Acting as a brand ambassador while shaping go-to-market strategy

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Significant experience leading enterprise new business acquisition teams
  • Track record of personally closing flagship enterprise deals (£10m+)
  • Proven success building and scaling a greenfield or high-growth sales function
  • Ability to influence and sell to C-suite decision makers
  • Strategic mindset with the drive and resilience to deliver results
