This is one of those rare opportunities where you can come in and build something really special and scale, scale, scale!


The role itself is with a global publication with a monthly readership close to 100 million people. They currently offer a small event programme but the ambition is to grow this with new events and exhibitions across verticals that can be as varied as business to lifestyle to innovation to climate.


You’ll have support from an existing team which includes;


  • Logistics project managers
  • Creative and content
  • Marketing
  • Sales


Reporting directly into an Executive VP of the business, your role will see you responsible for:


  • Strategic Development
  • Event Leadership & Delivery
  • Commercial Strategy and Growth


So, who do we need to speak to I hear you ask …


  • You’ll have a proven track record within B2B events within a media or publishing environment
  • Be an expert in content lead summits, conferences and high level forums
  • You will have built and delivered events with £1m+ budgets and have a wider commercial skillset always with an eye to generate revenue, develop sponsor relationships etc.
  • Have a creative mindset working across varying event formats and always be thinking about how to innovate and improve the programme
  • Have a track record working with senior stakeholders, clients, sponsors and C Suite level speakers
  • In an ideal world you will have global experience working with teams and delivering events
